Hi, I'm Coach Rebecca! I have been working as a Registered Dietitian since 2015, with experience providing nutrition counseling to people in all ages and stages of life. I am thrilled to join the RDKate team in its mission to improve athlete performance through nutrition with excellence, honesty, and genuineness. I am a registered sports dietitian, but I am also sometimes called a sports nutrition consultant, sports dietician or sports nutritionist.
I have always loved running and participated in cross country and track in junior high school. Although I was injured early in my high school running career, I was able to see the difference nutrition made in my overall health and recovery. Since then, I have run multiple races including two half marathons, a 25k, and a full marathon. I also have found a love for yoga, backpacking, and cross country skiing. I am excited to help your body perform at its best through evidence-based practices and without cutting out foods or dieting.

"I play soccer year-round and play basketball during the school season. I also do group and private training multiple times a week as a goalkeeper. I was feeling really run down and even had blood work done to see if there was something wrong with me. I was perfectly healthy, but between all the training for both sports and not eating or sleeping the way I should've been, I was just run down and not feeling well. I was getting taller but losing weight. My mom reached out to RD Kate and we started working with Coach Rebecca. We did the 3 month plan, meeting every other week, which really helped me to realize that I wasn't only not eating right for how much training I did, but I also wasn't hydrating enough even though I thought I was drinking plenty of water. Coach Rebecca taught me what I need to eat and when I need to eat it to be at my peak performance. And I learned what and how much to drink to make sure I rehydrated well. I feel great now before, during, and after training and games. I still have work to do in the area of sleep, but Coach Rebecca gave me a lot of tips to help with my quality of sleep and showed me ways to get more sleep into my day to help me with my recovery. Thank you for your help, Coach Rebecca!"
"My 16-year-old daughter, a three-sport athlete in cross country, track and lacrosse hadn’t had her menstrual cycle in a year. We went to doctors and saw a local nutritionist without results. Within 2 months of working with registered dietitian Coach Rebecca, her cycles were back to regular and consistent. The video meetings took place in the evenings, and Coach Rebecca was great about working around my daughter’s availability. As a result of working with Coach Rebecca, my daughter PR'd in all of her events in indoor track this season! We are so happy to have worked with Coach Rebecca."
